Housing Search Tool for Homeless Sex Offenders*

You can search for available housing areas in Miami-Dade County by using the School and Daycare Buffer map. This website displays a map of Miami-Dade County showing a 2,500-square-foot buffer around the property boundaries of public schools, charter schools and private schools. It also displays a 1,000-square-foot buffer around the property boundaries of daycares.

To confirm that a specific address is at least 2,500 feet from a school & 1,000 feet from a park or day care center, use the Sexual Offenders/Predators Residence Search map as a guide.

*Note: All changes of dwelling must be approved by the probation office responsible for supervising offenders on community control.
