Paul Imbrone to head The Homeless Trust's RentConnect as new Director of Landlord Recruitment and Retention
The Homeless Trust recently welcomed Paul Imbrone as its new Director of Landlord Recruitment for the Miami-Dade County Homeless Trust’s newly created RentConnect initiative. Imbrone comes to the position with more than 40 years of corporate business, government affairs, community and civic involvement including significant work in homeless advocacy and tenant leasing operations.
“RentConnect is the single most important initiative we have underway as it relates to ending homelessness,” said Ronald L. Book, Chair of the Miami-Dade County Homeless Trust. “Everything we do hinges on housing. We believe Paul’s experience and connections in Miami will be a win for those in our Continuum who are ready to move into housing.”
RentConnect consists of a team of housing professionals who connect landlords with tenants. The matching program supports owners and managers in keeping properties full and rents paid. For RentConnect, Paul will support the program goals by recruiting and retaining landlords to more rapidly, efficiently and successfully house homeless individuals and families in Miami-Dade County through collaborative efforts between the Continuum of Care (CoC) Housing Navigators, the Homeless Trust, and outreach teams.
Paul will also oversee the Claims-Based Risk Mitigation Fund, while creating and overseeing educational tracks including RentConnect Certification Training, Tenancy Readiness Training and training to Landlords, CoC Providers and others, who are critical to the success of this program.
Prior to his role with The Homeless Trust, Imbrone was Vice President, Government and Public Affairs for Macy’s, Inc. At Macy’s, Paul oversaw asset protection, government and community affairs, licensing and tenant property lease operations for nine states and Puerto Rico.
Paul can be reached at email@example.com. Information about RentConnect is available at homelesstrust.org/rentconnect.
