Board Meetings

The Miami-Dade County Homeless Trust is governed by a 27-member Board of Trustees, which includes representation from the city and business community, elected officials, formerly homeless persons, religious leaders and homeless advocates.

The Homeless Trust Board meets monthly and special meetings are called as needed.

The Trust Board has the following committees that also meet regularly or as may be required:

  • The Executive Committee
  • Services Development Committee
  • Housing Development Committee
  • The City of Miami Subcommittee
  • Finance and Audit Committee
  • Continuum of Care Subcommittee
  • Homeless Management Information System Users Group

Miami-Dade County Homeless Plan: Priority Home

The Miami-Dade County Community Homeless Plan provides a framework for our community to end homelessness. The initiatives and strategies outlined are designed to align with the policies and priorities identified by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development.

 

Annual Continuum of Care Subcommittee

(Posted 2/15/2018) The CoC Subcommittee meetings will begin on 2/16/18 at 1 p.m. in conference room 18-2 on the 18th floor of the Stephen P. Clark Center, 111 NW 1 ST., Miami, FL 33128. Future meetings and changes to the agenda will be advertised via mass email. To get on our mass email distribution list, please send your contact information to OLAN1@miamidade.gov.

The committee will:

  • perform an annual gaps and needs analysis using system performance data,
  • review the coordinated entry processes,
  • review the homeless plan,
  • review the CoC Scoring, Ranking and Reallocation process
  • discuss disaster preparedness planning

Here are the draft meeting materials, which will be updated once reviewed by the CoC Subcommittee and adopted by the CoC's Services Development Committee.

The Homeless Trust would like to extend a 30-day Comment Period to providers and stakeholders who wish to comment on the draft procedures and handouts. If you wish to track your edits on the documents email mannys@miamidade.gov to receive a copy of the documents in Word. Please send your comments in writing to Manny Sarria at mannys@miamidade.gov by 5:00 p.m. EST on Friday, March 16, 2018.
